Technical Sales Executive: Molecular and Micro Analysis
HORIBA Jobin Yvon Ltd, part of the HORIBA group of companies is currently seeking to expand its UK sales team with the appointment of a Technical Sales Executive for their spectroscopy instruments product lines.
Job Description
THE ROLE: The individual will be responsible for increasing the sales for the entire range of Molecular and micro Analysis (MuA) products to the UK & Irish markets. Activities will include prospecting, progressing and closing sales together with after-sales customer support. Some product promotional effort will be required including trade shows, product launches and sales campaigns. Reporting to the MuA Product Manager you will be expected to achieve minimum sales targets. Interaction with customers will take place on a daily basis by means of telephone, email or face-to-face meetings. This is a challenging post which offers high rewards for success.
THE PERSON: Ideally you will have a degree in one of the physical sciences, together with a minimum of 2 years sales experience in a technical field. You will be highly motivated with a good scientific understanding. The successful candidate will be well focussed with the ability to recognise customer requirements and to offer appropriate technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills are a must and a full clean driving license is required as the role will involve travel within the UK and Ireland.
Experience of Molecular spectroscopy, would be extremely advantageous.
